DeLorge International University Centre and the Eastern Carolina Educational Assistance Centre, specializing in providing research-based instruction for K-12 students and adult continuing education students, is seeking a motivated individual to work as a teacher capable of providing excellent K-12 tutoring support services to elementary and middle schools in the above identified county

Responsibilities

• To assist supplemental education instructors in providing tutoring support for K-12 students in reading, writing, and math instruction.
• To update database instructional files on students participating in the SES program
• To assist SES instructors and school administration in communicating effectively with parents in providing high quality SES services to the community
• To assist SES instructors with pre-and post testing assessments required by school district officials

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associates degree in education or related field
• 2 years of teacher assistance experience with K-12 students
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Prefer a candidate with computer proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
